The magic of music

Something very magical about the sound of Arabic jazz music , for some reason it ignites something within me, calmness in a way, peace and what ifs , a lot of them.

A night cruise drive, alone, listening to Jazz, cold weather, a cup of coffee and let your mind stress free , instead you feel like the music and the mood is taking away your negative energy, suppressing all the demons inside me that wants to break loose.

All is fine, until you are hit back by reality and you wake up again, so do your inner demons l, fighting to break through to unleash their wrath on this world, wish you can scream in the middle of the street with a thunder like voice that will break every window in the neighborhood, that will silence the birds and the sky. But instead it breaks inside you, 10 times louder, eating your heart inside out, you run again to your sedative, your one way out, wondering, like all other drugs, when it's effect will wear off !

Farewell party

Most of us are accustomed to the farewell party concept , for those who are not familiar with it, In many cultures, it is customary to throw a farewell party in honor of someone who is moving away or departing on a long trip (sometimes called a bon voyage party). Retirement parties for departing co-workers fall into this category.

Farewell parties as much as it is amazing social events usually bring people closer as part of social gatherings, yet it is another astonishing phenomenon in terms of human interactions.

Farewell parties is the only place I believe where you will see all the mixed emotions in a very surprising pattern, you are happy for the person who is leaving that he or she will search for a new endeavor in his/her life while you are sad because this person is not becoming any more one of your daily habits.

Other might be sad that this person is leaving to chase his / her dream while he /she is still stuck with his /her current circumstances. Some might be angry because they don’t cope with change easily and they don’t want this person to leave.

The person whom is leaving himself/herself will face the same dilemma, strange mixture of emotions mixed with both tears of joy and sorrow at the same time wondering if the decision he/she made is the right one.

A farewell party is and always will be an event where we can show appreciation to the person leaving, telling him/her that he/she will always be missed and that he/she made a difference in our life, a nice group photo, a comment once he/she said, a joke perhaps, email or even an argument will always form a memory of these days that we spent with him/her and will be always grateful for those moments.

May you all find what you are searching for in the journey life and reaches the shore of your destiny safe, sound and most importantly happy.

Note : This is dedicated to special persons to me who made a difference in my life.

Don't Mix Business with Pleasure !!

Don’t mix business with pleasure , you will find this phrase in most of the employees handbook all over the globe in most of the organizations, usually no one cares for it , simply because we are human , and human race exists to interact with other people around their environment.

Some other terms that also most of the people familiar with like team work , team building activities , yet it is very clear to every one that the two rules contradicts and if you work in a healthy team eventually you will mix business with pleasure .

You come to work everyday in a healthy environment and you love to stay at work because your team is always comforting and supporting in most of the cases which gives you the feeling after a period of time working with them, that they are not colleagues any more, they are more like .. family.

At this point you lost control and latterly forgot all about “Don’t Mix Business with Pleasure” because they are family now, little that you know that a day will comes and you will understand what is the merit behind it.

But the inevitable happens and the day come that one of them is moving on with his/her life , makes you feel really sad and broken for losing this person , yet this person is not going anywhere only changing their job but deep inside you know that with time the relationship will fade away.

It is the fact that you live up to memories in your life, and when you realize this fact it makes you strengthen your relationship with others even more, to build the best memory and enjoy a good moment.
